For the Crust
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 c oil
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 425º. Mix flour, salt and sugar until well combined. In smaller bowl, whisk oil, milk and vanilla. Combine all ingredients and mix gently with a fork just until it holds together. Smash into a 9 inch tart pan.
For the Crumble
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
Combine the ingredients and mix with pastry blender until all ingredients are combined and forms small balls.
Fill pie crust with 2 to 3 apples, thinly sliced. Sprinkle crumble on top of fruit. Bake for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with salt.
