Global Culinary Adventure

Day 1: Around the World in a Bowl

Get ready for a flavorful journey as we travel the world through the magic of bowls! Kids will explore different global cuisines by creating their very own customizable bowls. From the savory to the sweet, they'll discover a variety of ingredients, spices, and flavors from diverse cultures, and learn how to mix and match them into delicious, nourishing bowls!

Day 2: Taco-Twist Adventures

Taco lovers, get ready for a fun and flavorful twist on a classic favorite! Kids will embark on a delicious journey around the world by reinventing the traditional taco. From homemade tortillas to bold fillings, they'll mix and match ingredients from different cuisines to create their very own unique taco masterpieces!

Day 3. The Full English Breakfast Adventure

Kids will learn to make a traditional Full English Breakfast with a mix of simple and delicious components. They’ll understand the origins of each dish and have fun preparing their own hearty breakfast.

Day 4: Fusion Street Food Fiesta:

 Get ready for a flavor-packed, hands-on adventure in the world of Fusion Street Food! In this exciting cooking class, kids will combine the best of street food from around the globe to create their own yummy dishes.

Day 5: Healthy Global Snacks

Kids will explore nutritious and delicious foods from different countries, all while learning how to create their own tasty, wholesome treats. This class will show how healthy foods can be both fun and packed with flavor!

Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students.

You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.


 

More about the Chef:

Charlene Kirk has been part of the Eggshells family since 2019. She is the owner/culinary instructor at Creative Culinary Kids which specializes in Garden to Plate Cooking Classes. She has also completed training in Food Nutrition Education from the Food Studies Institute.  Charlene is passionate about encouraging both kids and adults to think more about what they are consuming and how it impacts their health and the world they live in. She draws inspiration from her own childhood growing up on a small farm in NW Arkansas learning to garden and cook alongside her mom and grandma and the 15 years she spent living in the United Kingdom.
